Join us at our fourth annual rally for LGBTQ+ Inclusion in Utah’s schools. We have a wonderful line up this year.It will include a reading by local author A.J. Irving, book giveaways, student speakers, and FAM’s 2024 LGBTQ+ Affirming Educator of the year award. Tabling starts at 5:30. Speakers start ar 6:00.

What We Do:

We hold monthly socials where LGBTQ+ identified educators and allies can come together to share our stories, support one another, and build a strong community.
Through monthly book clubs, presentations, and other professional development opportunities, F.A.M provides learning opportunities to educators, school-district employees, and other stakeholders about creating LGBTQ+ inclusive schools environments.
We know the power of queer representation in books. Amid a nationwide wave of book banning, we fundraise to create LGBTQ+ inclusive book bundles for Utah teachers so every student can know that their story belongs.
We help start and support Rainbow Clubs and GSA’s to create a safe, welcoming, and accepting space at school for all youth.
F.A.M. knows how important it is to unite and raise awareness of LGBTQ+ issues. We hold a rally at the state capitol every May so our voices are heard.
